Harlow Dental
“A concept for a dental site patients trust before they even call.”
01 — CONCEPT BRIEF
| Project type | Self-initiated concept |
|---|---|
| Client | Fictional — no real clinic |
| Practice | New private dental practice |
| Design goal | Trust before the first call |
| Results | None claimed — design exercise only |
02 — THE SCENARIO
Harlow Dental is a fictional private dental practice in Sydney, invented for this concept. The scenario: a dentist leaving a corporate chain to open her own practice, a few weeks from opening day and with no website.
The design question: how can a brand-new private practice show why it is worth choosing over a large chain, clearly, warmly and fast?
03 — WHAT THE CONCEPT COVERS
- 3-page structure: Home, Services, Book an Appointment
- Custom Elementor Pro layout design
- Booking form section, designed to connect to a practice booking system
- Google Reviews section layout
- Service menu with a pricing transparency section
- Mobile-first layout
- On-page structure planned around local suburb keywords
04 — THE APPROACH
The concept starts from one idea: a founder-dentist’s warmth and personal approach is her biggest differentiator from the corporate chains. The site personality is built around her, with a prominent photo, a personal bio and patient-first language throughout.
A pricing transparency section is a deliberate trust builder, since most dental sites hide their prices. It is the section this concept leans on most.
05 — VISUAL IDENTITY DIRECTION
Merriweather for display / Outfit 400 for body
A warm dental site: think boutique clinic rather than medical facility. Soft navy and teal on white. Prominent human photography. Trust signals throughout: reviews, credentials, a personal story.
OPENING A CLINIC? YOU NEED THIS LIVE BEFORE DAY ONE.
This is a self-initiated concept project, not a client engagement, and no results are claimed. Want the real thing? Strategy-led builds, one developer, end-to-end.
