Move Pilates Studio
“A concept for a boutique studio that fills classes online, not just by word of mouth.”
01 — CONCEPT BRIEF
| Project type | Self-initiated concept |
|---|---|
| Client | Fictional — no real studio |
| Practice | Boutique Pilates studio |
| Design goal | Move bookings out of the DMs |
| Results | None claimed — design exercise only |
02 — THE SCENARIO
Move Pilates Studio is a fictional boutique studio in Singapore, invented for this concept. The scenario: a studio with a strong Instagram following that fills classes through DMs and WhatsApp, with no website to send new followers to.
The design question: how do you turn an Instagram-led studio into something bookable online while keeping the look and feel of the feed?
03 — WHAT THE CONCEPT COVERS
- 3-page structure: Home, Classes + Schedule, About + Book
- Class schedule section, designed around a booking platform such as Momence
- Online class booking and payment flow (design only)
- Instagram feed section on the home page
- Intro offer landing section (first class free)
- Instructor bio section
- Mobile-first layout
04 — THE APPROACH
The concept brief: match the Instagram aesthetic, handle bookings, and be easy for the founder to update without a developer. The direction is warm, editorial and earthy: body-positive and intentional.
The site would be built in Elementor’s visual editor so class descriptions and new sessions can be updated without touching code, and an intro-offer section (first class free) gives new followers a clear first step.
05 — VISUAL IDENTITY DIRECTION
Cormorant Garamond italic for display / DM Sans 300 for body
Earthy wellness meets upscale boutique. Parchment and sage. Photography-led — full-bleed movement shots. Feels like a curated editorial spread, not a gym website.
TURN DMS INTO A BOOKED WAITLIST.
This is a self-initiated concept project, not a client engagement, and no results are claimed. Want the real thing? Strategy-led builds, one developer, end-to-end.
